WAITING FOR GODOT
By Samuel Beckett
Directed by Ben Barnes
Thompson Theatre, Roselle Center for the Arts
Ended

Waiting for a guy that’s lousy at keeping appointments has become one of the theatre’s most significant modern classics. Two lovable, hapless vagrants grapple with the mysteries of the universe while trading barbs as they await the perpetually absent Godot. Part allegory and part burlesque, Beckett’s masterpiece dances between absurdist comic sketch and captivating philosophical drama.
