The moving tale of John Merrick, a passionate, artistic soul trapped in a body hideously disfigured by a horrifying rare disease. Named the “Elephant Man” in a touring freak show, he is rescued by a renowned surgeon and becomes the unlikely toast of London society. A poignant look at disability, intolerance, and the gift of kindness, this Tony award winning play retains its power to shake us to our depths.
This production runs approximately 90 minutes with no intermission. The production contains theatrical haze and brief nudity.
