Dancing at Lughnasa, Kathleen was a member of the acting company at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival for 12 seasons where she played Portia, Kate, Viola, Hermione, Lady Macbeth, Tamora, Helena, Gertrude, Emilia, Mistress Ford, Adrianna, and many others, including the title role in
Major Barbara and Lady Bracknell in
The Importance of Being Earnest.
Other regional credits include Anna in Anna Christie at San Jose Rep, Tamora in Titus Andronicus at the Intiman Theatre (Seattle), Judith Bliss in Hay Fever at Great Lakes Theatre, Illona Szabo in The Play’s the Thing at American Players Theatre, Our Country’s Good at Madison Rep, and War Stories from the 20th Century at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Locally: Julia in A Delicate Balance, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, and Kate in The Taming of the Shrew at the Delaware Theatre Company, as well as major credits at the Wilma Theatre, The Walnut Street Theatre Studio, the Arden Theatre Company, and Freedom Repertory Theatre.
Kathleen began her professional career in New York City with The Edge Theatre and was a member of the Broadway touring company of Biloxi Blues. Kathleen is a 1992 graduate of the PTTP.
